Sweeping the competition aside, Supervisors Anne Booty and Joe Rice, at SixtyFour Music’s London office, claimed the trophy for last year’s Best Sync in Broadcast Advertising (Sponsored by LEMON WAX) for the use of ‘I Would do Anything for Love by Meat Loaf on The&Partnership’s Vets for Pets 'We're All For Pets' spot.
The jury were impressed, which comes as no surprise given they’re currently top of their game having also Supervised Jerskin Fendrix’s score on movie ‘Poor Things’, which has recently been nominated for a BAFTA, Golden Globe and uh, shortlisted for an Academy Award!
“Like all legacy copyrights you’re dealing with something special, and you need to approach them with the respect they deserve, while ensuring your client has everything they want covered too. It’s a delicate dance but extremely satisfying when the fruits of your labour come through, and all parties are happy with the results. This was a pleasure to work on and the track works so well for the brand and the creative...a match made in heaven. We’re thrilled to have helped them get it over the line.” - Anne Booty: Head of Film + TV | Music Supervisor at SixtyFour Music
